Here's the secret to being your best, Always..

I am often asked, "What's the one way I can always feel great and be my best?".

Well.. Here's the secret, revealed

The answer is easy - LOOK THE PART. As my mentor, Judith Rasband has famously said "The way we dress affects the way we think, the way we feel, the way we act & the way others react to us"

Many of us are raised to believe that being concerned by our appearance is superficial vanity. This couldn't be further from the truth. Think about it - When was the last time you went out in public without any clothes on??

Most of you (I hope) would say not since you were a baby :)

Our clothes cover a large part of our body, are the first thing anyone notices about us and speak volumes about our personality, moods, values, status, etc to us and to others. This has been described as the Universal Language of Clothing.

1. Our appearance impacts us first

Before an important evening out, interview or social function don't you always spend a little extra time picking out your best outfit something that you feel good in, it flatters you and is appropriate for the event? It's because dressed and groomed well, we think positively about ourselves and the situation. We feel more confident, capable and productive.

2. Our appearance impacts others too

When you feel good about yourself, you are naturally able to do your best, act more secure and in control of the situation. Appropriately dressed and groomed, appearing and behaving confidently, you create a positive impression on others and people respond more favourably to you.

This affirmation from ourselves and others is crucial to each and everyone of us. Everyday when we look at ourselves in the mirror, we should love who we see. None of us should have to feel depressed, inferior, or full of self-doubt. Looking good and dressing well is a fast, effective way to boost self-confidence and overcome anxiety. Looking our best helps us do our best and letting others see the best in us.

Self Image

Ladies and gentlemen, here's a little experiment...Try it...at your own risk... Spend one week dressing in unflattering, shabby clothes, not applying makeup (women) or not shaving (men), not grooming your hair or perhaps skip polishing your shoes. At the end of the week ask yourself, "Was I feeling good, did I behave appropriately, was I productive?"

You will have your answer.

To always look, feel and be your best you need to appear...

1. Attractive

2. Appropriate

3. Authentic

4. Always

Let me help you be the best you. As a certified Image Consultant I can teach you the secret to being the best you at all times, without spending too much time or money on yourself. It's a life skill you can't afford to not know.
