Of New Year Resolutions, Exercise and other things...

It’s the second day of 2017 and we all made resolutions last week to be more healthy, to lose weight, to save more money, to be more successful, etc.. and today it all seems to be fading fast!

Why do we fail at fulfilling our new year resolutions?

The answer is simple- any goal remains a dream unless we have a plan and the determination to go through it one day at a time. Sometimes the ultimate goal seems so distant that we give up without even trying.

To ensure we don’t fall through with our genius plans- lets take it one day at a time and repeat it all again the next day.

My mantra for 2017 is “One day at a time”

The number one resolution seems to be- “Lose Weight/Get Healthy/Exercise.

So with my philosophy of “baby steps” in view I am going to follow this very simple diet and exercise routine to show you all that it is easy to stick to a plan, that cheat days are ok and that well executed plans yield the desired results!

My favourite high intensity work out is at this link below. You can do these exercises right in your bedroom-perfect for those who don’t like gyms

Don’t be fooled by how easy it looks when you read it- If you haven’t been exercising, these 10 minutes will be punishing. I’m on day 2 and my abs hurt if I cough...

And my diet which I will start next week is here

Because as fitness wisdom dictates-

Watch this space for updates on my progress and cheat days. I swear I will be honest and will also suggest improvements on this diet to appeal to the Indian taste buds

So keep on being “the best you”

We at VVIC dedicate ourselves to helping you be better
